What is Ear Candling?
The process involves using a specially made hollow candle which is held gently on the edge of the ear to create a vacuum in the ear, drawing out old wax, residues of past infection and fungus.
Treatments will generally last about one hour.

The History of Ear Candling
This ancient clearing method has been used by the Egyptians (who apparently used reeds), the Chinese, Greeks, and the Hopi Indians of America.

When should I have a treatment?
Beneficial results may be obtained for the following problems:

  • Excessive wax build-up
  • Sinus irritation
  • Chronic ear infections (in conjunction with herbal and nutritional treatment)
  • To clear the head before or after a flight
  • Fungal problems
Is it safe?
Candling is non invasive and completely painless.
If performed incorrectly, there is a possibility of wax or ash from the candle dripping onto you.
Therefore is it advisable that you be under the care of a professional to avoid any possibility of incorrect usage.
