What is Emotional Freedom Technique?

Emotional Freedom Technique is based on a new discovery that has provided thousands with relief from pain, degenerative conditions and emotional issues. It is an emotional version of acupuncture except needles aren't necessary. Instead, you stimulate well established energy meridian points on your body by tapping on them with your fingertips. The process of tapping disperses energy and as all pain is an excess of energy it provides a powerful recipe for change.

Emotional Freedom Technique is one of a range of healing processes, such as Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Kinesiology, based on an understanding of how energy flows in the body. It rebalances the effects of negative emotional experiences which disrupt your energy flow and block your own innate creativity, power, wisdom and inner strength. Emotional Freedom Technique techniques can be used by you on your own or with the help of an experienced practitioner

Bruce Lipton, PhD Author of The Biology of Belief, says
"Emotional Freedom Technique is a simple, powerful process that can profoundly influence gene activity, health and behavior."

"Some day the medical profession will wake up and realize that unresolved emotional issues are the main cause of 85% of all illnesses. When they do, Emotional Freedom Technique will be one of their primary healing tools.... as it is for me." - Eric Robins, MD -

"Because of the intricate neuronal network in the brain, that links the limbic system with the hypothalamus (and virtually any other structure), chronic pain cannot be successfully treated without addressing the psycho-emotional component. The main reason, why some patients get well at all with only interventional technical approaches - but without psychotherapy of some sort- is that most physicians counsel their patients to some degree (often not knowing that they do) and lessen the limbic system arousal by demonstrating confidence and acceptance. However, this type of therapy is not targeted and does not consciously use the tremendous benefits these approaches have to offer." by Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, M.D., PhD

When should I have an Emotional Freedom Technique Treatment?

In Emotional Freedom Technique, the subtle energies that circulate throughout the body are considered to be a primary cause of emotional upsets. Emotional Freedom Technique can therefore aid in healing victims of trauma and abuse, people with fears and phobias, panic and anxiety, depression, addictions and compulsions. As well as being a spiritual and emotional healer, Emotional Freedom Technique provides relief for a wide range of physical symptoms including headaches, pain management and weight.

Using Emotional Freedom Technique you can deal with both personal and business situations by helping you keep focused, grounded, and present in mind and body, stay clear in the head, lead, contribute creatively, analyze effectively or deal with confrontations and challenges.

How is Emotional Freedom Technique Performed?
Your consultation begins with a conversation about the issues you are currently aware of in your life. Often you can see where you want to go, how you want to be, and yet it's perhaps hard for you to imagine clearly and exactly how you'll get there. Since the world is complex and dynamic and is therefore at once unpredictable, surprising, rewarding and constantly changing it's easy to lose your balance and feel overwhelmed, rushed for time, chasing crushing deadlines and trying hard to keep your outside world in balance.

What you can do quite easily however, is keep yourself in balance. Then dealing effectively with the world is something you do from the inside, responding to each change with creativity, calmness and resilience.

You often know which events trip you up, what people are hard to deal with, which challenges seem insurmountable and what situations bog you down. Similarly you can identify negative emotions you have whenever you're finding life difficult.

Having identified your negative emotions you begin, under the instruction of your practitioner to tap appropriate meridian points to normalise the flow of internal energy. Some of these tapping patterns and affirmations will be given to you to use at home.

Emotional Freedom Technique has been shown to be a reliable, successful and practical means of dealing with your negative feelings and their effect on your body. When you stop feeling blocked, incapable, overwhelmed and frightened your body relaxes and there's an immediate flow of energy taking place in your body that allows your body to heal itself.

Emotional Freedom Technique and Kinesiology combined provide speed and effectiveness combined in a simple, transformational session.

People's personal attitudes change once Emotional Freedom Technique has been 'appropriately' applied to help restore their inner balance and creativity. By specifically accessing your unconscious limiting beliefs that are wired in your reptilian (survival brain) and limbic (pleasure and pain) centres, permanent change can take place more effectively and faster and, without this, it is just expensive band aid therapy.

Does it hurt?

EFT is usually quite gentle and substantial relief is often achieved with little or no pain. The practitioner sometimes teaches simple "tapping" sequences that the client can use on their own to better handle emotional issues when they arise.

Because Emotional Freedom Technique is non invasive, private and simple it can be used by you in any situation when you need to draw on inner balance and resourcefulness
